Dubai Launches 24/7 Digital Property Sales via Dubai Now App

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has launched the “Digital Sale” service, enabling property transactions to be completed entirely online, 24/7, via the Dubai Now app. The initiative, unveiled at GITEX Global 2025, aims to streamline real estate procedures and bolster Dubai’s position as a leading digital hub for global investors.

Streamlining Property Transactions

In a significant move towards digital transformation, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) has launched the first phase of its “Digital Sale” service, enabling real estate transactions to be completed entirely online. Unveiled at GITEX Global 2025, the new service allows buyers and sellers to finalise property sales 24/7 through the Dubai Now application.

The initiative aims to set new standards for speed, efficiency, and security in the property market, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a leading digital economy. By facilitating remote transactions, the DLD is enhancing the emirate’s appeal to global investors and supporting the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033.

How the Digital Process Works

The “Digital Sale” service offers a seamless, end-to-end digital experience that eliminates the need for in-person appointments. The process is straightforward:

  1. The seller creates an electronic sale contract on the platform.
  2. Using the UAE Pass app for verified digital signatures, the seller signs the contract and sends it to the buyer.
  3. The buyer transfers the payment to a dedicated account managed by the service.
  4. Upon payment confirmation, the property ownership certificate is instantly issued in the buyer’s name via the application.

To use the service, both the buyer and seller must have a valid Emirates ID and an active UAE Pass account. The service currently applies to single-owner, mortgage-free residential or commercial properties located in freehold areas.

Supporting a Booming Market

The launch comes as Dubai property sales surge, reflecting strong investor confidence. This digital leap is designed to manage the growing volume of transactions with greater efficiency. The move follows similar tech-driven initiatives in the region, such as when Abu Dhabi launched its digital property portal earlier this year.

At GITEX Global 2025, the DLD also presented its Real Estate Instant Registration Platform, an interactive dashboard providing real-time data on property transactions across Dubai. This tool is intended to further increase market transparency and build trust among investors.

This initiative is a key step in the DLD’s strategy to achieve 100% digital real estate services, fostering an innovation-driven property ecosystem that continues to attract international investment.
