Sharjah-based developer Arada has awarded a major construction contract worth AED 397 million ($108 million) to build the Rove Aljada hotel and Rove Home Aljada branded residences. The development is a key component of the AED 35 billion ($9.5 billion) Aljada megaproject, further boosting Sharjah’s hospitality and residential offerings.
Sharjah’s real estate landscape is set for a significant enhancement as developer Arada awarded a construction contract valued at AED 397 million ($108 million) to Modern Building Contracting Company (MBCC). The contract covers the development of a new hotel and residential cluster within the landmark Aljada megaproject.
Construction is scheduled to begin immediately, with a completion date targeted for December 2027. The project includes the 192-key Rove Aljada hotel and 306 units of Rove Home Aljada branded residences. This marks another major step in the evolution of Sharjah’s largest mixed-use development.
The hotel and residences will be housed in four interconnected blocks strategically located next to the upcoming Arada Central Business District (CBD) and Madar Mall. The Rove Aljada hotel will feature a rooftop swimming pool, co-working spaces, a 24-hour gym, and an all-day dining restaurant. The Rove Home Aljada will offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom serviced apartments with access to exclusive amenities, including a private gym, pool, and ground-floor retail outlets.

Once completed, Aljada is envisioned as a fully integrated community featuring residential neighbourhoods, commercial hubs, entertainment facilities, hotels, and schools. This project reinforces Sharjah’s position as a growing economic and lifestyle destination, complementing trends seen as the Sharjah rental market stabilizes and matures.
