The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) has launched the region’s first fully digital platform for property sales, allowing buyers and sellers to complete transactions entirely online. The “Digital Buy & Sell Journey” aims to enhance efficiency, security, and transparency in the emirate’s thriving property market.
Digital Leap for Property Market
The new service, named the Digital Buy & Sell Journey, enables users to manage every step of a property transaction online. This includes mortgage releases, official registration, ADREC Trustee verification, digital contract signing, and secure escrow settlements. The entire process is consolidated into a single, secure, and compliant digital platform.
By integrating with the national digital identity system, UAE Pass, the platform facilitates tamper-proof digital signatures, allowing residents and international investors to finalise deals from anywhere in the world. The system also features video-enabled participation from ADREC Trustees and utilises escrow accounts owned and managed by ADREC to ensure financial security and regulatory oversight.
This initiative comes as the UAE real estate market continues to show robust growth, with this digital advancement expected to further boost investor confidence.
A Vision for a Digital Future
Engineer Rashed Al Omaira, Acting Director General of ADREC, described the platform as a significant advancement in the emirate’s digital evolution.
“The launch of the Buy & Sell Service is more than a technological innovation; it is a strategic leap in Abu Dhabi’s digital transformation. By harnessing advanced technologies to strengthen the foundations of our real estate market, we are ensuring efficiency, security, and transparency at every stage of the transaction process.”
He noted that the initiative aligns with the emirate’s goal of becoming an AI-enabled government by 2027, positioning its real estate sector at the forefront of technological integration and setting a new standard for future-ready services.
The user-friendly journey guides all parties through the process, from application to closing, with the flexibility of virtual or in-person meetings available via the TAMM platform. This streamlined approach promises faster and more cost-effective transactions, enhancing the experience for buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals. Recently, the government has also been active in clarifying legal aspects, such as the property service fees timeline, further stabilising the market.
The launch of the Digital Buy & Sell Journey reinforces Abu Dhabi’s status as a regional leader in digital governance and property innovation, establishing a new benchmark for secure and borderless real estate transactions.
